July 6, Wednesday – 1:00-4:00PM $35
The beginner workshops are for beginner students who have not sewn before and are not able to attend a Summer Sew-In Camp. Students will get started on the First Four projects. This one day workshop will focus on our typical first lesson for beginners learning the parts of the sewing machine, sewing room safety, taking proper measurements, learning how to shop for a pattern, and making a cute simple backpack. If time allows we might even play a few sewing games like we do in camp.
For the beginner workshops I provide the following:
- For ages 9 through 18
- Machines and basic supplies will be available for students’ use.
- Project is provided for beginner class.
- A snack is provided.
- Registration must be received for June 21 by June 7, 2011 and for July 6 by June 22, 2011.
